Major Scientific Areas

• Modelling of discrete-event systems and
  transportation systems as autonomous entities
  capable to interact and cooperate.
• Planning and control to tackle the optimisation
  of resource allocations and scheduling for a best
  Quality of Service.
• Supervision of transportation systems in order to
  develop and test methodologies to detect and
  identify congestions and incidents in a
  transportation network.
