Go and loosen the sackcloth from your hips and
take your shoes off your feet and go naked
and barefoot for three years as a sign and
token against Egypt and Cush. - Isaiah 202-3

Now you son of man, get yourself a brick, place
it before you and inscribe a city on it,
Jerusalem. Then lay siege against it, build a
siege wall, raise up a ramp, pitch camps and
place battering rams against it all around. Then
get yourself an iron plate

and set it up as an iron wall between you and
the city, and set your face toward it so that it
is under siege, and besiege it. This is a sign to
the house of Israel Lie down on your left side
for 390 days and then on your right side
for 40 days.

When the Lord your God brings you into the land
where you are entering to possess it, and clears
away many nations before you. Then you shall
utterly destroy them. Furthermore, you shall not
intermarry with them. For they will turn your
sons away from following Me to serve other

mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and
