Establishment ..

• The Department of Agricultural Extension (DOAE)
  was established on October 21, 1967.

• DOAE is one of 13 Departments under the Ministry
  of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Vision ..
DOAE is the core agency to promote and develop
farmers to be self-reliant, to produce
agricultural products with good quality, and to
engage in their farm occupation in a sustainable
manner.

• 1. Transfer agricultural production technology
  to farmers.

• 2. Promote and develop farmers and farmers
  organizations.

• 3. Provide occupational trainings and
  agricultural services to farmers.

• 4. Carry out other activities which are under
  the jurisdiction of the DOAE or as
  assigned by the Ministry or the
  Cabinet.
