  • Yes/No questions begin with modals or a form of
    BE.
  • Does the student know the answer?
  • Can the customer pay the bill?
  • Is it going to rain today?
  • The correct answer is yes or no.

  • Where questions ask about the place.
  • Where did you live last year?
  • Where are you going now?
  • Where will you work in the future?
  • The answer can be just the place.
  • In Chicago.
  • To the mall.
  • In a bank.
