• Set up joint monthly meetings with BH
• Jointly facilitated events and conferences with
  BH including Blackpool Preston Gateway
• Beacon roadshows, BH customer conference and
  Beacon conference and a PEP conference in Oldham

• BATRA is supporting the development of the peer
  support project
• BATRA has also facilitated a number of
  independent visits and events including Bradford,
  Trafford, Tameside New Charter, and Lewisham

• BATRA is currently researching relevant
  conferences and training to ensure effective use
  of the budget
• BATRA has recently attended a number of TPAS and
  TAROE conferences

• BATRA accounts for 2006/7 are currently with
  auditors being prepared for submission to
  Charitys Commission and Bolton at Home
• 9 BATRA reps are involved on a weekly basis
  managing and running the BATRA Office on a
  voluntary rota

• The office provides advice and guidance on a wide
  range of issues including housing benefit,
  environmental services, Credit Union, Quids in,
  BH, signposting and RA Projects and receives
  calls from call centre staff. The office also
  provides support for RAs including auditing
  accounts, sign posting, meeting room
  photocopying

• Delegates meetings have been booked and will be
  on a topic basis with GKC attending 2 of the
  meetings and the other topics chosen by RAs via
  a survey

• BATRA Website is being developed to be more
  interactive with more info about the services
  which BATRA delivers and also links to BH, BC,
  Police etc
• BATRA is also looking at better way of
  communication and support for its members

• BATRA has produced 2 newsletters and the spring
  edition will be will be issued shortly
• BATRA has invited Shaun Harriss to the BATRA
  office to meet BATRA reps
• BATRA has been asked by Baroness Andrews to
  discuss the implications of Charitable Status

• BATRA has established its priorities for future
  development
• BATRA has developed a number of funding
  applications including a lottery bid
• BATRA development is being delivered/progressed
  on a daily basis by volunteers at the office

• BATRA needs to develop links with the Council
  social enterprise initiative
