Title: Liberalism What does the Bible say Part 2
1Liberalism What does the Bible say?(Part 2)
2Gen 29
- The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from
the groundtrees that were beautiful and that
produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the
garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil.
3Gen 215-17
- The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden
to tend and watch over it. But the Lord God
warned him, You may freely eat the fruit of
every tree in the garden except the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit,
you are sure to die.
4Gen 31-7
- The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild
animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked
the woman, Did God really say you must not eat
the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?
Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the
garden, the woman replied. Its only the fruit
from the tree in the middle of the garden that we
are not allowed to eat. God said, You must not
eat it or even touch it if you do, you will
die.
5- You wont die! the serpent replied to the
woman. God knows that your eyes will be opened
as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God,
knowing both good and evil. The woman was
convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful
and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted
the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of
the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her
husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. At
that moment their eyes were opened, and they
suddenly felt shame at their nakedness.....
6- God warned him, You may freely eat the fruit of
every tree in the garden except the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit,
you are sure to die. - You wont die! the serpent replied to the
woman. God knows that your eyes will be opened
as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God,
knowing both good and evil.

8James 113-16
- And remember, when you are being tempted, do not
say, God is tempting me. God is never tempted
to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.
Temptation comes from our own desires, which
entice us and drag us away. These desires give
birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed
to grow, it gives birth to death. So dont be
misled, my dear brothers and sisters.
9Rom 120 -32
- For ever since the world was created, people have
seen the earth and sky. Through everything God
made, they can clearly see his invisible
qualitieshis eternal power and divine nature. So
they have no excuse for not knowing God. 21 Yes,
they knew God, but they wouldnt worship him as
God or even give him thanks. And they began to
think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a
result, their minds became dark and confused. 22
Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter
fools.
10- 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious,
ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to
look like mere people and birds and animals and
reptiles. 24 So God abandoned them to do
whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As
a result, they did vile and degrading things with
each others bodies. 25 They traded the truth
about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served
the things God created instead of the Creator
himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.
26 That is why God abandoned them to their
shameful desires. Even the women turned against
the natural way to have sex and instead indulged
in sex with each other.
11- 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual
relations with women, burned with lust for each
other. Men did shameful things with other men,
and as a result of this sin, they suffered within
themselves the penalty they deserved. 28 Since
they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he
abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let
them do things that should never be done. 29
Their lives became full of every kind of
wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder,
quarrelling, deception, malicious behaviour, and
gossip.
12- 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God,
insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new
ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents.
31 They refuse to understand, break their
promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32
They know Gods justice requires that those who
do these things deserve to die, yet they do them
anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do
them, too.
13- Vrs 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldnt
worship him as God or even give him thanks. And
they began to think up foolish ideas of what God
was like. As a result, their minds became dark
and confused.
14- Sow a thought - reap a deed
- Sow a deed reap an action
- Sow an action reap a habit
- Sow a habit reap a lifestyle
151 Peter 113
- So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear,
be totally ready to receive the gift that's
coming when Jesus arrives. Don't lazily slip back
into those old grooves of evil, doing just what
you feel like doing. You didn't know any better
then you do now. As obedient children, let
yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by
God's life, a life energetic and blazing with
holiness. God said, "I am holy you be holy."
16- Vrs 24 So God abandoned them to uncleanness to
do whatever shameful things their hearts desired.
As a result, they did vile and degrading things
with each others bodies.
17- Prov 423 Guard your heart above all else, for
it determines the course of your life - Prov 237 For as he thinks in his heart, so is
he. - Luke 645 A good person produces good things
from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil
person produces evil things from the treasury of
an evil heart.
18- Vrs 26 That is why God abandoned them to their
vile shameful desires. Even the women turned
against the natural way to have sex and instead
indulged in sex with each other.
19- Vrs 28 Since they thought it foolish to
acknowledge God, he abandoned them to a reprobate
mind and their foolish thinking and let them do
things that should never be done.
20- Vrs 32 They know Gods justice requires that
those who do these things deserve to die, yet
they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage
others to do them, too.
21- Luke 41 Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit,
returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the
Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by
the devil for forty days.
Luke 414 Now when the devil had ended every
temptation, he departed from Him, Then Jesus
returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee,
and news of Him went out through all the
surrounding region.
