Proposal Example for Scope
  • Scope (of a mango project)
  • This assignment is expected to be completed
    within 90 days after the contract has been
    signed. The scope of the work of this assignment
    is as follows

  • The survey will be conducted in three
    climatically different mango-producing areas in
    Mpumalanga and Limpopo Province. Two ha with Kent
    (Mango Cultivar), which are 10 years and older,
    will be surveyed in each area. In each of the
    selected orchards, 20 trees will be sampled at
    random. The relative occurrence of XY disease
    causing pathogens will be determined by doing
    isolations from leaves before and after the
    application of Z. Isolations will be made from
    all the different symptom types that are
    observed. These tests will take 2 weeks and the
    results will be statistically analysed.
    Recommendations based on the findings will be
    presented on the research symposium in November
    2004.
