  • Write down my current (ninth grade) career choice
  • (What I want to do for a job during my adult
    life)
  • Career Pathways
  • What are they (page 9)
  • Choose a career pathway based on my current
    career choice (page 10)

  • Find the corresponding Careers in your pathway
    page in the booklet
  • Examples (If your chosen pathway is Arts and
    Communications, you would go to page 15. If your
    chosen pathway is Health Sciences, you would go
    to page 43)
  • Deciding How much college
  • Generally speaking
  • Entry level and Technical level will require none
    or 2 years of college.
  • Professional level will require 4 years or more
    of college.

Creating the Four-year plan
  • From the Careers in your Path page, use the
    schedules to create your four-year plan
  • Identify which four-year plan to use
  • Two years of college or less will follow the CC
    four-year plan.
  • Four or more years of college will follow the
    Univ. four year plan.
  • Fill in all of the required courses for all four
    years.
  • Use the Course Catalog to choose elective classes
    to complete the course schedule.
