- Core Components approach is fast gaining momentum
- UN/CEFACT is increasingly regarded as the place
where semantic harmonization can take place at
the highest level - Industry groups now coming forward and declaring
support for UN/CEFACT and for migration/alignment
of their standards with the CC approach - UN/CEFACT needs the resources and buy-in of these
external organizations

v2.0.3, will be submitted to ISO TC 154 for
approval as ISO/DTS 15000-6. - UN/CEFACT and OASIS will announce that BPSS 3.0
will be a joint effort. - The TMG recommends that this action be supported

- The 2nd working draft of UMM Base and UMM
Foundation Module ready for ODP Step 5 - The review period started on 2006-03-17 and ended
on 2006-04-30. Began User Guide update process - Business Collaboration Specification Schema
(BCSS) - Launched and made considerable progress in a
joint project with ICG and ATG to define a UML
profile for UMM and evaluate interoperability
among various UML tools. - BCSS v1.0 draft specification released to ODP
Step 4 - Resources-Events-Agents (REA) Project is approved
and already started

- Core Component Technical Specification (CCTS)
- CCTS V2.2 draft specification released for ODP 4
- The review period started on 2006-04-03 and ended
on 2006-05-03 - Core Component Message Assembly (CCMA)
- The team has been formed, the project launch, and
a series of steady conference calls has produced
sixteen pages of comments. - Context Methodology Project (CMP) is approved and

Simple, Transparent and Effective Processes for
Global Commerce - Feedback is that they are excellent
specifications - But there is still a lot of work to do

this issues in that time as you want - We believe that an endorsed IPR Policy will start
the ball rolling, especially for - more awareness,
- more resources,
- more active participation, and
- support by major companies
