4Assembly ProceduresStep 1 Unpack the box
(1) an 85 assembled Reach, (2) a stem, (3) a
seat/seat post assembly, (4) (5) front and rear
wheels, (6) front and rear hub skewers, (7) a
pair of pedals, (8) Front and rear fenders, (9)
front and rear carriers.
Note fenders and carriers are optional
5Step 2Insert the seat post into the seat tube,
and close the seat clamp QR lever.
Note Do not raise the seat post higher than the
minimum insertion mark.
6Step 3Assemble the stem to the gooseneck, and
insert the stem into the head tube, adjust the
handlebar height and alignment, close the QR
lever on top of the stem.
Note Do not raise the seat higher than the
minimum insertion mark.
7Step 4Stand the bike upside down on the
handlebar and seat. Latch the bottom end of the
rear shock to the rear swing arm, and close the
QR lever.
8Step 5 Install the front and rear fenders.
9Step 6Insert the rear hub skewer into the rear
hub from the opposite side of the sprockets,
screw in the nut. Slide the rear hub into the
rear dropouts. Align the rear wheel center.
Adjust the tightness of the skewer and close the
QR lever. Hook the V brake cable.
10Step 7Slide the front wheel into the front fork
with both ends of hub sitting on the dropouts.
Insert the hub skewer into the front hub. Let
the QR lever on the left side of you. Align the
center of the wheel. Close the QR lever at proper
tightness.
11Step 8Stand the bike upright and install the
pedals.
Step 9 Adjust the height and alignment of seat
post and handlebar.
Note Do not raise the seat and handlebar over
the minimum insertion mark.
12Step 10Install the front and rear carriers.
Note Do no put over 25kg of luggage on the
carriers.
13How to foldLevel 1.Take off the front carrier.
Remove front wheel and seat. Turn the front fork.
Swing the rear swing arm to get the rear wheel
into the front fork. Pull out the handlebar stem.
Stand the bicycle on the rear carrier or put it
into the car trunk.
14How to foldLevel 2.Remove the fenders and rear
carrier. Take off the rear wheel pack the bike
in a carrying bag for travel.
