- Estimates are from the U.S. Census Bureaus
Population Estimation Program and the National
Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) - All death rates for 2000-2003 have been
re-calculated using new population estimates - 2000-2003 death rate data in previous reports can
not be compared to data in this publication - These changes affect death rates only
