My Claim
10Rube Foster VS Bud Selig
11Facts about Rube
- Started the first organized baseball league for
African-Americans - Was hissed at and spat at because his skin was
black - Wouldnt stop trying
12Facts about Bud
- Was commissioner of baseball when the players
wouldnt play in 1994 - Was and is the person taking the heat for
players taking drugs - Is being told he is the worst commissioner ever
13Rube Foster is a better administrative person
Bud Selig got through one conflict but he wont
put his foot down now when players are taking
drugs. Rube put his foot down right away when
people said he couldnt make a league for
African-Americans. Bud tried to avoid conflict
instead fight for what is right
My Claim
14Jackie
Jackie Robinson is unique. The thing that he did
is incomparable. He broke the color barrier and
let other African-Americans play Major League
baseball.
15He wasnt happy in the army when he couldnt play
baseball with them or use the same bathroom. He
fought to let African- Americans have equal
rights in the army.
The Army
16Paving

Americans to play in Major League Baseball - Rube Foster made the Negro League
- Jackie was discovered in the negro league
