• a) Collaborative Design
• We collaboratively design/build/evaluate Learning
  Objects
• Camp CLOE each May
• Monthly audio-conferences
• Meet in person 3 times a year
• Produce Learning Objects that are free of local
  nuances and thus easier to re-use
• We evaluate everything we build

• Dr. Jonathan Swallow Award for CLOE Excellence
• There are two award categories and eligible
  candidates can be individuals or teams who
• 1. Created a learning object which meets the
  CLOE Guidelines for Authors criteria.Or2.
  Reused a CLOE learning object and evaluated the
  implementation of the learning object (i.e.,
  learning impact study).
