Key Director Bio-Data
Steve Davis, CEO Steve Davis founder of
Silverback ASP in March 2001 formerly was Vice
President of Technology of Exodus Communications.
Steve began his technical career in an IBM RD
Think Tank called JIEC as a Systems Engineer and
SW designer. He has an accomplished career path
from starting as a SE, to becoming CTO of a large
ISP in Tokyo Japan, and expanding Exodus
Communications Asia Pacific. Dan Sweeney, CTO
Dan Sweeney a technical veteran, began his
career as a programmer for Quarterdeck (now
called Symantec). Dan wrote the kernels for Desk
view and many other programs. Since Dan became
Senior Backbone Engineer for Exodus
Communications and designed and expanded a
multiple OC192 network with over 8 million routes
per node. Dan is an asset to Silverback ASPs
technical team Ronald Ramos, Chief Engineer
Ron Ramos is an accomplished Network Engineer
and has developed and proven his technical
knowledge by being a key part in building the
Silverback and Alfa Jungle Systems. Ron has
experience in building Philippine IP Networks,
Microwave Satellite Networks and is an
accomplished Systems Engineer. Ron has earned his
placement in Silverback ASP as the 4th dedicated
employee and a board member. Martin Winter, Board
Member and Consultant Martin Winter is an
active consulting board member of Silverback ASP.
Martin is a currently a Technical leader working
for Cisco Internet Technology division of IOS
(RD). Martin was previously Backbone Engineering
for Exodus Communications and like Dan designed
and expanded the multiple OC192 network from a
DS3 network to accommodate a fast expanding
Internet environment.
