Mensen tussen Swalm en Maas

• Artist Wim Rijvers lived in Asselt, he is born
  in 1927. he has grown up in Kessel at the Meuse.
• Where it stands near the Mert and near the
  little river the Swalm and the police station.
  How 110 cm high and 80 cm broad picture are made
  of gyps, metal, gauze and for strengthening
  concrete.
• When the picture has been revealed on 21 May
  2005th by the Major Denie of Swalmen, and
  alderman mr. F. Smeets.
• How it sees there are 2 people with the back to
  each other and in between them the Meuse and the
  Swalm is flowing.

Ground Dry and cold.God know how old.Full with
marks,From years ago.A lump ground and stone.A
little bit scattered,Everything is flowering and
growth.And a eye for wigs,worms, horse and
human.Its a place on this world
The monument the four Elements is standing on
the Heide 57 on the wall at the house of the
artist, Joop Crompvoets. The four Elements is
build in the year 1997. Joop Cromvoets is worked
on it for three months. The four Elements is
very huge it is four meters large! There are
four elements water, ground, fire and air. We
have a dialectics poem translate to the English.

The Dr. Crasbornmonument

• The Dr. Crasbornmonument. Is standing on the Dr.
  Crasbornplace at the front of the hypermarket.

Location
Why? The Dr. Crasborn monument have been build at
the honour to the doctor from Swalmen. He was the
first citizen of honour from Swalmen. That honour
was as a result of its fifty-year-old office
jubilee. That means that he was then already
fifty years doctor.

It has been made at the beginning of the years

saw the plant in the Venloos garden centre and
they gladly wanted to maintain the plant

Waar staat het?

• The sun of Greece has been placed at the
  Peelveldlaan number 44. The art work is just as
  old as the sportcentre, thats is standing
  beside. The maker of the art work is Jos
  Beurskens. The art work is 5.15m high.
• DescriptionThere are sitting two blue bulge at
  the lower part of the art work. There around are
  brown arcs. There a pile goes up, where a golden
  balloon is placed on. The golden ball must
  present the sun of Greece. The artist has made
  many drawings, before he could start with the
  design.
