animals like oxen, goats or horses so that they
can pull a wagon, plow, etc.

For the animal, the yoke meant work was ahead for
them.

• The Yoke is work!
• There were two vital phases in farming.
• Breaking the ground.
• Sowing the seed.
• Jesus chose the image of a yoke to describe
  discipleship.

• If the yoke meant hard work, then why does Jesus
  call it easy?
