Description!
The Goldenrod is a medium sized spider. It can
reach a color of a pale white to a bright yellow.
It also usually has a red mark on either side of
the abdomen.

Habitat!
Goldenrod spiders are found throughout Alberta
and in most parts of North America. It can be
found in roadside weedy areas, urban flower
gardens, fields basically wherever there are
flowers of the appropriate color.

Food!
The goldenrod spider waits on a flower for its
prey to come and land on it. The spider injects
venom into its prey. The venom causes the
insects insides to turn to liquid, which the
spider drinks.
