Winson Tang began working for Xcorporeal in 2007 as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role he was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company and played an important role in developing the regulatory strategy for product approval at Xcorporeal. Under his stewardship, the company grew immensely, more than tripling in size from 8 to 25 employees.

As a clinical researcher, Winson Tang has enjoyed a long and successful career. Early in his career, he enjoyed being a team leader for the development of Aranesp in Amgen Europe AG in Lucerne, Switzerland, while acting as the Medical Director for Nephrology. Leading a group of approximately twenty people, he provided medical expertise and support for the company. He also helped to develop the European Key Opinion Leader Network and Advisory Boards for Nephrology.

Winson Tang MD with years of experience as a nephrologist, scientist and clinical researcher was made the Chief Operating Officer of Xcorporeal Inc., in 2007. Dr. Tang was responsible for the daily operation of the company when it completed a functional prototype of its first device, a portable home hemodialysis machine.

Winson Tang MD is a gene therapist and biological science researcher with extensive experience in drug development and other therapeutic treatments in many different fields. In this position, he oversees the creation and research of many different projects, and has been instrumental in the development of many important drugs in the medical field. The field of gene therapy is a relatively new and expanding field, and DrTang is thrilled to be a part of important medical developments.

Winson Tang MD worked as a Medical Consultant for Amsterdam Molecular Therapeutics between 2008 and 2009, where he became heavily involved in the development of Glybera.

California scientist and physician, Dr. Winson Tang, studies the methods and procedures used to develop new drugs. To do this, he closely follows the innovations and methods of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), which is a division of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Understanding how and why certain drugs are created and marketed as safe alternatives for patients is important to him.

Winson Tang is a clinical scientist and physician. He graduated from Tufts University in four years with a combined Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry. Subsequently, he earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and then completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Southern California.

Winson Tang MD is an experienced and talented medical professional who has been working in the healthcare sector for more than thirty years. He has worked for a number of companies during this time, including Amgen, Tularik, Isis Pharmaceuticals and Amsterdam Molecular Therapeutics.
