Pete Skyllas moved with his parents from Greece to America when he was five years old. His father worked for USS Steel in Gary, Indiana, and he lived in the city into his teen years. Mr. Skyllas moved to New York with his uncle and worked as a plumber, enjoying creating something from nothing. It wasn’t long before his specialized plumbing skills would translate into a successful plumbing business. He scaled his operation to 22 trucks.
Pete Skyllas is the son of Greek immigrants who spent his adolescence growing up in Gary, Indiana. After attending Purdue University briefly, he realized college wasn’t for him and soon after moved to New York with his uncle. There, Mr. Skyllas began a plumbing career that would eventually lead to his own business endeavors. Today, Mr. Skyllas maintains a successful plumbing enterprise that provides high-end services to celebrities, politicians, and other high-profile clientele.
