Okay, so we’re not talking about the everyday cleaning duties necessarily; most of us can manage to wash and dry our own pots and pans, squirt some bleach in the loo and wash and fold our own washing. But what about the myriad other cleaning jobs that build up over time and either consume all your precious free time while you catch up on them, or gradually get worse and worse as you keep putting them off? I mean must they be your responsibility? It’s your home, granted, but nobody says it must be you that cleans it from top to bottom, do they?

There are no good reasons why us humans and our beloved pets, cannot coexist quite happily under the same roof, all it requires is a little dedication, on our part, not theirs!

I suppose there may be a few of you out there who love cleaning, who can think of nothing more pleasurable and rewarding than scrubbing, dusting and polishing their homes, who never complain about it and secretly delight in making a mess just so that they can clean it up! As much as we love our pets, there are times when we really do wish that they could clean up after themselves. Dust mites are quite literally, everywhere, and escaping from them if you suffer from a dust mite allergy (one of the most common allergy causes), can feel like an uphill struggle. Getting rid of them is probably impossible, but you can certainly do your best to keep them under control.

Whether you’re a messy cook or one who tidies up as you go along, no kitchen is ever without a few hidden grubby spots, and it isn’t just the chef who makes a mess!
