Noida, 21st April: The Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum, in collaboration with the Embassy of Armenia and ICMEI, commemorated the illustrious legacy of filmmaker Sergei Parajanov on the occasion of his centenary celebration. The event, held at Marwah Studios, marked a poignant tribute to the visionary artist whose contributions continue to resonate within the realms of cinema and culture. The highlight of the evening was the screening of Sergei Parajanov’s debut masterpiece, “The Color of Pomegranates,” a film revered for its poetic storytelling and visual splendor. As the audience immersed themselves in Parajanov’s cinematic universe, they were transported through a kaleidoscope of imagery and emotions, reflecting the rich tapestry of Armenian culture.
Noida: Appreciating the hard and honest work of AAFT Alumnus Rajinder Saigal of 23rd Batch Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television announced special honor for him for promoting animation. Rajinder Saigal, who met Sandeep Marwah in Cannes during Cannes International Film Festival this year, is keen in submitting his short film to many more international festivals to showcase the work he has done in animation. Saigal approached Dr. Marwah for further professional assistance.
Noida: A powerful delegation of the filmmakers from Ghana arrived at ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry to join hands with the chamber to promote film activities in Ghana. The delegation was lead by the National President of Film Directors Guild of Ghana [FDGG] Richard Yaw Boateng along with Haruna Seidu Soale Greater Accra Regional Chairman [FDGG], Ernest Ackom Ag. Noida 19th April : Third day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 started with the competitions among the students of AAFT school of Fashion and Design. The variety of stalls, right at the entrance representing creative products were appreciated by one and all that was entering into the campus of Marwah Studios. ‘Fashion Is For All’ was the topic of seminar of the 7th Session of 3rd GFDWN. “It’s not about the dress you wear, it’s about the life you lead in the dress. Fashion should be a form of escapism, and not a form of imprisonment. Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah initiating the session.
