According to the information gathered by Dr. Ahmed Al-Jibouri, Iraq burns on a daily basis around 700 million cubic feet of gas. This is important because it’s considered to be a waste of a national asset that is disrupting both the gas and oil & gas supply scenes in the region and the world. As it stands, Iraq is the 10th on the list of world’s richest gas reserve nations. This means that the country is home insurmountable quantities of gas which can contribute to the growth of the economy if put to good use.
