Full Taper Cartridge Rolls PowerPoint PPT Presentations

These tapered cartridge rolls are an aluminum oxide-coated abrasive, glued into a cone shape that is attached to a mandrel and meant to be used on a drill or hand-guided die grinder. They are made with premium aluminum oxide close coated and resin bonded to strong cloth backing. This abrasive cone shape cartridge roll construction offers the user precision grinding in tight, hard-to-reach areas. It can deburr holes, sand concave surfaces, and grind fillets.

The cartridge rolls are tightly spun abrasive tubes made with close coated, resin bonded, aluminum oxide. It is ideal for accessing small, hard-to-reach spaces. These cartridge rolls are made with aluminum oxide grains, which is a great general-purpose abrasive for blending, deburring, and polishing high-tensile materials and ferrous alloys. They are used on a mandrel, on high-speed tools, to sand/grind those tight, hard-to-reach areas that other abrasives can't hit.

This cartridge roll mandrel is is a tool attachment that holds an abrasive cartridge roll (sold separately). The mandrel and cartridge roll enables the user to grind or finish hard-to-reach areas of a workpiece, such as angles and curves. It attaches to a rotary tool such as a die grinder or drill and comes in different sizes to fit a variety of cartridge roll sizes. The hank of the mandrel is secured into the collet assembly or drill chuck of a rotary power tool.
