Al Rogers has experienced hardship when it comes to meeting his fundamental requirements as a youngster, including his desire for an education. Al Rogers served as the Superintendent of St. Hope Public Schools, which caters to students with autism, and sought to improve their educational program in an effort to provide education to those who need it most.
Before working his way up to superintendent of Merced City School District, Al Rogers worked in assistant and principal positions at varying high schools. Al Rogers also served as the CEO and leadership consultant of Great Schools Workshop, which collaborated with Stanford's School Redesign Network to provide resources to administrators in urban school districts.
During a long career in education, Dr. Al Rogers received several awards. His awards include the Golden Bell award in 2018 as well as an award from the National College for School Leadership. Al Rogers worked hard to provide students from lower income families with equal opportunities to higher education.
